Message from the Director
The City of Columbia offers citizens and visitors many opportunities for recreation, arts, health, and fitness through a variety of programs and activities, and an interactive system of parks, open spaces, nature trails, and facilities.
Columbia has 56 developed parks consisting of hundreds of acres and dozens of miles of developed and undeveloped trails.
Columbia also has facilities for youth, teens, seniors and the community for the arts, concerts and activities.
Whatever your choice,
Columbia has a wide variety of recreation, arts, sports and entertainment activities for everyone. Be sure to take some time to visit the city's new skate park at Owens Field Park, 1351 Jim Hamilton Boulevard.
