6-Week Training Program:
Quarterly In-Service Training:
A forum dedicated for the purposes of updating all personnel on the current trends, revised polices and procedures and all topics relative to the field of emergency communications.
Training Advisory Committee:
Comprised strictly of supervisors, operations and the training officer to address issues and concerns in assisting employees with job performance.
Tactical Dispatch Program:
This program is designed to provide an advanced team of specialized telecommunicators to the command system for Law, Fire and EMS in the event of a high-priority incident.
Employee Certification Program:
E-911, South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, National Crime Information Center (NCIC), State Law Enforcement Division, (SLED), Associated Public Safety Official-International ((APCO), Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) First Responders /CPR and a host of other training programs.
On The Job Training ( OJT):
After a 6-week program, new hires are assigned more in-depth training by a Shift Training Officer. |
