Mayor & Council Appointments
The Mayor and Council make policies and enact laws. Council meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Work sessions may be scheduled on second and fourth Wednesdays. Meetings on third Wednesdays will begin at 9:00am and will be followed by zoning public hearings, which take place at 10:00am. City Council holds quarterly evening meetings. Each Council member hosts one quarterly evening meeting per year. The quarterly evening meetings rotate to each Council district in order to give citizens an opportunity to attend a City Council meeting in their community.
Make a personal appointment to meet with At-Large City Council Members Tameika Isaac Devine & Daniel Rickenmann. Meetings take place the second Wednesday of each month. Discuss public safety, economic development, city services, neighborhood issues or other community concerns.
The City of Columbia consists of a 4-Council District structure. The Mayor and At-Large Council members represent all of the districts within the City.
