The City of Columbia's Climate Protection Action Campaign, better known as CPAC, empowers all Columbians to improve the environment through water conservation, energy conservation, air quality and recycling/waste reduction. City Council formed CPAC in 2006 after the Mayor signed the US Conference of Mayors Climate Action Plan. CPAC now serves as City's clearinghouse for environmental action, information and activities.
- Check out the City's Climate Action Plan, which guides the work of CPAC. The plan was created in 2006 by City staff and community leaders and is been updated on a regular basis.
