University of South Carolina USC is the state’s flagship university with more than 50,000 students across eight campuses, offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs.
Allen University A private Christian liberal arts school and Historically Black College and University (HBCU), Allen University is known for schooling ministers and teachers, as well as numerous other programs and degrees.
Benedict College Benedict College is a private liberal arts institution with about 2,500 students. It was named one of the top baccalaureate colleges in the nation for six consecutive years by Washington Monthly. Benedict College is also an Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
Midlands Technical College A technical college that offers hands-on experience, Midlands Technical College offers a wide range of programs and offerings to prepare students to be work-ready.
Columbia College Columbia College is a women’s college with about 1,200 students, focusing on leadership development, career preparation, service and social justice.
Columbia International University Columbia International University is a Christian university offering 19 undergraduate majors, graduate and seminary programs, professional certificates and online programs for working adults.
