Work involves responsibility for regulating the conduct of pedestrians especially school children and the flow of traffic at street intersections. Work receives general supervision from a police officer. | | | | Qualifications: | | Graduation from high school, vocational school, or GED with some work experience in public contact work and preventing pedestrians from crossing street at intersections until traffic is stopped in the appropriate direction; or, any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience. | | | | Special Requirements: | | Preference may be given to those applicants who possess and maintain a valid SC Class "D" Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record.
