Job Title: INSTRUMENT WORKER I (Limited Term)
Pay: $24,295/Annual
Nature of Work
The purpose of this position is to perform routine technical land surveying work in support of City engineering projects, and to perform related work as required.
 
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school, vocational school, or GED with two (2) years work experience in land survey work, which requires use of survey instruments and equipment, GPS (Global Positioning System) preferred; or any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
 
Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class "D" Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must have knowledge of personal computer equipment with skill in the use of Microsoft Office preferred, utilizing Outlook, word processing, spreadsheet, ArcInfo and AutoCAD software programs as well as data entry skills.
