Work involves being responsible for the safety and security of parks and patrons. Work also involves exercising tact and courtesy in contact with the public, distributing general information and leading educational and recreational programs. | | | | Qualifications: | | Associate’s degree in park management or closely related field preferred with one (1) year work experience in parks and grounds maintenance highly desirable; or any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience. | | | | Special Requirements: | | Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class “D” Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to express ideas clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
