| | | | | << Back To Listing | | | | Job Title: | STORMWATER ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST II | | Pay: | $38,167 / ANNUAL | | Nature of Work | | The purpose of this position is to develop programs and record keeping systems to monitor stormwater drainage areas for pollution discharges, to prepare and maintain associated records and reports, and to perform related technical work as required. | | | | Qualifications: | | Associate’s degree with emphasis in biology, chemistry, laboratory science or closely related field with two (2) years work experience, to include some supervisory responsibilities, in developing policies and procedures relative to the City’s environmental permits and updates, overseeing the maintenance of all databases for City stormwater operations and related documents as they apply to the City stormwater permit, directing stormwater inspections for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and permits, directing sampling protocol for laboratory testing and developing related reports, identifying pollution sources and addressing environmental violations; or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. | | | | Special Requirements: | | Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class “D” Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record.
