Job Title: SENIOR PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR (CONSTRUCTION MGMT)
Pay: $50,498 / Annual
Nature of Work
The purpose of this position is to perform professional and supervisory work in the administration of construction administrators for all types of municipal projects; to assist engineers with the design, development and implementation of City construction, renovation and installation projects; and to perform related work as required.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or closely related field with four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in coordinating and managing complex projects and programs, reviewing and developing scope of work for various types of projects; knowledge of government operations and knowledge of the local area preferred; or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
 
Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class “D” Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record. Professional Engineer registration is desirable. Must have knowledge of personal computer equipment with skills in the use of Microsoft Office, utilizing Outlook, word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs. Skill in the use of presentation software programs preferred. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Membership in related professional organizations preferred. May be required to work additional hours, as needed, in order to accomplish assigned work.
