Job Title: MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II (WASTEWATER MAINTENANCE)
Pay: $25,837/Annual
Nature of Work
The purpose of this position is to operate light and heavy equipment in the operation, maintenance and/or construction of City facilities, grounds and infrastructure; to maintain assigned equipment, and to perform other work as required.
 
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school, vocational school or GED with two (2) years work experience in the operation of off-road specialized and moderately complex heavy-duty motorized equipment such as dump trucks, motor graders, bull dozers, bob cats, front-end loaders, compactors, trailers, trenchers, etc.; or, any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
 
Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class "A" Commercial Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. May be required to work additional hours as needed.
