Job Title: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY HELP DESK ANALYST
Pay: $32,001/Annual
Nature of Work
The purpose of this position is to respond to computer users' request for service and assistance with computer hardware and software problems; to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair computer hardware and peripheral equipment; and to perform related technical work as required.
 
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school, vocational school or GED supplemented by one (1) year of college education in computer science, computer maintenance, or closely related field with four (4) years of work experience in operating computer systems with various programs as well as in hardware/software troubleshooting skills; or, any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
 
Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class "D" Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must have excellent knowledge of personal computer with skill in doing data entry and in the use of Microsoft Office 2000, 2003 preferred, utilizing Outlook, Word, Access, Excel and Presentation software programs. May be required to work overtime as needed in order to accomplish assigned work. Must be able to lift, move supplies and equipment up to 50lbs on a daily basis, as needed.
