Work also involves responsibility for assisting the Aquatics Coordinator in all phases of water safety and pool maintenance activities. | | | | Qualifications: | | Graduation from high school, vocational school or GED with some experience performing lifeguard, water safety type duties and responsibilities, previous lifeguard experience preferred; or, any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience. | | | | Special Requirements: | | Preference may be given to those applicants who possess and maintain a valid SC Class "D" Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must possess and maintain current Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety certifications from American Red Cross or other nationally recognized certifying agency; Will be required to participate in teaching swimming lessons.
