To All Applicants of Accommodation, Hospitality, and Community Promotions Funding:
Please attend our "Strength in Unity Forum"
Thursday, October 6, 2016
11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Behind the restaurant at 1620 Main Street
Sponsored by the City of Columbia
The City of Columbia would like to extend an invitation to you and your organization to attend our "Strength in Unity Forum." The forum promotes greater communication, collaborations, cooperation, marketing/advertising, and resource sharing among non-profit organizations that serve the local community. Be prepared for one person to introduce others, briefly discuss information about the organization, briefly discuss needs (not money) and resources (volunteers, meeting space, board members, furniture, advertising, etc.) your organization may have, and any events you may have coming up.
All community organizations that apply for funding through the above grant programs are invited to attend. This has been arranged during lunch hours to be considerate of everyone's time. Michaels Café is offering a buffet for the price of $10, including tax and gratuity. Please be prepared to pay in cash. There is a parking deck behind the restaurant and spaces are available as noted on each level.
If you or a representative from your organization would like to attend this forum, reply by email to [email protected], or call 545-3048. We need to know how many from each organization will attend. Please share this invitation with fellow non-profit groups. It is not our intent to overlook any organization.
*****Please RSVP as soon as possible*****
