First Reading of FY 2013-2014 Budget
Columbia City Council will give first reading to the proposed FY 2013/2014 budget on Tuesday June 4, 2013 during the regular scheduled meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. In addition to first reading of the budget, City Council will give first reading to the proposed rate and fee increases for Parks & Recreation facility rentals and other recreation programs and first reading of the Hazardous Materials Cost Recovery and Registration ordinances.

 Hospitality Tax, Accomodations Tax, and Community Promotions

2013-2014 Hospitality Tax Grant Application Workshop

Friday, February 15th

Held @ The Clarion, 1615 Gervais Street, Salon A

The City of Columbia will conduct a workshop for organizations who plan to apply for the Hospitality Tax Grant.  A buffet lunch will be available for $11.50(includes drink) plus tax and gratuity.The workshop will inform organizations of any updates or changes, answer questions and assist in the grant application process. 

 

The City of Columbia is now accepting applications for Accommodations and Hospitality Grants:

 

Accommodations Tax Grants (Due March 8, 2013) provide financial support to nonprofit organizations and their projects/events whose mission is to attract tourists by promoting overnight accommodations in the City of Columbia.  Please click on Accommodations Tax listed to the left under "choose your selection" for applications and guidelines.

 

Hospitality Tax Grants (Due March 15, 2013) provide financial support to nonprofit organizations and their projects/events whose mission is to attract tourists by promoting dining in the City of Columbia.    Please click on Hospitality Tax listed to the left under "choose your selection" for applications and guidelines.

 

There is no funding available for Community Promotions Grants at this time.
