Let's Move! Columbia

The City of Columbia and EdVenture Children’s Museum partnered together to create a new cookbook featuring kid-friendly recipes to help with preparing quick and easy healthy meals and snacks just in time for the back-to-school season. The recipes were created by Chef Kenny Smith of EdVenture Children's Museum.

The cookbook features 13 recipes, and tips on nutrition and fitness. There’s also space in the back of the book for children to write down their own recipes.

The cookbook will be available for free to the public at the following locations while supplies last:

  • City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Department’s Administration Office, 1111 Parkisde Dr., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • City Hall, 1737 Main St., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Copies are also available through the children's museum's EdVenture's Eats program. For more information on the museum's program, visit www.edventure.org.
