KOBAN/QOP Services:

KOBAN and QOP Staff assist children and families in any way possible, whether by direct involvement or referral to someone more appropriate. In any event the KOBAN staff will act, wherever possible, as an advocate for the community. KOBAN is open to youth ages 6 - 18. Parents or guardians must provide transportation for their children to and from KOBAN and QOP sites. The goals of the program
are:

  • Crime reduction
  • Increased community involvement in solving problems
  • Empowering KOBAN participants to become leaders
  • Theses program goals are achieved through a number of activities, to include:
    • Tutoring
    • Athletics
    • Arts
    • Summer Camps
    • Field Trips
    • Computer Classes
    • Mentoring
    • Finance Management
    • Future activities include:
    • Business Partnerships/Internships
    • Networking
    • Scholarship Opportunities
