City Kicks-Off National Small Business Week

The City of Columbia along with the Columbia Chamber kicked-off National Small Business Week this morning at the Columbia Chamber. City officials, Chamber representatives, County officials and small business owners were all in attendance to recognize the many contributions of small businesses throughout Columbia. A proclamation was also presented to declare April 30 to May 6, 2017 Small Business Week in the City of Columbia.
 
Small Business Week is a national movement started by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to honor America’s entrepreneurs. The City of Columbia is committed to supporting its entrepreneurs and small businesses on a local level. The City’s Office of Business Opportunities highlights the impact of the city’s outstanding entrepreneurs and small business owners.
 
The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities will hold the 5th Annual Small Business Week Conference on Thursday, May 4 from 8 AM- 2 PM. To purchase tickets or for more information about the Small Business Week Conference, please visit columbiasc.net/OBO.
