During the month of June, the City will recognize National Homeownership Month. The City of Columbia strives to provide safe, decent and affordable housing, a suitable living environment and economic opportunities for families all over Columbia. Throughout the month of June the City is encouraging citizens to look over our many housing loan programs to find the program that is the right fit for them.
In recognition of National Homeownership Month the City Of Columbia Community Development Department has several activities during the month of June.

Tuesday, June 6:
The Community Development Department will present a “Preserving The Dream”
certificate to a recent homeowner in the recognition of National Homeownership Month.
Friday, June 9:
The Community Development Department will host a press conference at Riverfront Park, located at 312 Laurel Street from 11 AM – 1 PM.
Saturday, June 10:
Homebuyer Workshop at Earlewood Park, located 1111 Parkside Dr. from 9 AM – 1 PM. To register for the Homebuyer Workshop please visit http://gate.columbiasc.gov/hbw2017/
