Preference may be given to applicants with at least one (1) year of college education in biology, chemistry, utility plant operations, or a closely related field as well as some work experience in a water plant. | | | | Special Requirements: | | Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class “D” Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record. Selected applicant must pass a respiratory physical in compliance with O.S.H.A. Regulation 1910.134 Section (b). Must possess and maintain or be able to obtain a Class “B” Water Treatment Plant Operator’s License within six (6) months from date of hire. Must possess and maintain or be able to obtain a Class “A” certification within one (1) year from date of hire. Will be required to work twelve (12) hour rotating shifts.
