The City of Columbia's Climate Protection Action Campaign, better known as CPAC, empowers all Columbians to improve the environment through water conservation, energy conservation, air quality and recycling/waste reduction. City Council formed CPAC in 2006 after the Mayor signed the US Conference of Mayors Climate Action Plan. CPAC now serves as City's clearinghouse for environmental action, information and activities.

CPAC meets twice monthly: first Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. (general meeting); third Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. (working meeting).

CPAC Appointee Monthly Meeting: Tuesday, April 6, 8:30 AM
CPAC Appointee Working Session, Tuesday, April 20, 8:30 AM

In the interest of public health, this meeting will be held using videoconferencing technology. Members of the public and/or media who wish to observe the meeting may do so remotely by requesting a meeting link from the City of Columbia Sustainability Coordinator Mary Pat Baldauf. Members of CPAC will have the ability to remotely participate in voting and operational procedures via telephone or other means of electronic communication. The public may submit letters and statements via email to [email protected] leading up to the meeting or the day of, as that account will be monitored during the meetings.
